Existing Process (Document Reception and Manual Processing)
Document Ingestion: The team receives a large volume of structured business documents daily. These include invoices, bills, and other business-related documents in various formats such as PDFs, scanned images, and digital files.
Manual Data Extraction: Team members manually review each document to extract specific data points, such as invoice numbers, dates, amounts, and vendor information.
Data Entry into Excel: Once the relevant data is extracted from the documents, it is manually entered into Excel spreadsheets. This step is used for comparison and analysis against data stored in the actual system, such as an ERP or accounting system.
RPA Solution (Data Extraction with DUF and GenAI)
Advanced OCR and Extraction: DUF uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to automatically extract text from scanned documents and PDFs.
